With 30 lines there are a lot of ways to win on this slot, you can only play the full 30 and can select your per-line bet amount between 1c and a huge $50. As with all Party Slots there is a configurable Auto-spin and your total credit is on display.

Graphics look great for this machine, with a bullet ridden 50’s car, gun and all important oranges as part of the image, a graphic introduction and symbols which include old style machine guns, exploding cars, spilled oranges and that horses head – in addition to the Godfather logo and of course, Don Corleone himself.

Payouts start with the ‘card’ symbols, which go 9 through to Ace – these are gold – giving the slot a slick look – and pay smaller amounts from 3 to 5 on a line. These smaller payouts are actually very useful, keeping you in the game long enough to hit a feature round or a bigger payout.

Symbols from the films pay better, for example 5 shotguns pays 500x and 5 horses heads pay 2500x. The symbol you really want to see is Don himself – he is a wild symbol with a twist. Not only substituting, but expanding to cover between 2 and 9 reels as a substitute symbol. I got the middle 9 reels one time and won a fortune, with just about all of the 30 lines paying out at once! What is more, when Don appears there is a (very short) clip of a quote from the film!

Finally, 3 Godfather logos will trigger the feature – tons of options for this, so I’ll explain in a separate section.

You get to choose your feature when you hit those 3 logos, hopefully you’ll win enough times to try all of these 3 excellent options, each of which plays a scene from the film before starting.

1. Asking A Favor, Family Fortune And Johnny Fontane: 2 Video clips play, you then get between 8 and 35 free spins – with a multiplier for wins.
2. Find The Don: Video clip followed by a choice of 3 doors, you need to find the Don, and then go forward to the free spins round where your number of spins and multiplier for bets is awarded.
3. Captain McClusky: Hit the play button first for your scene, afterwards you see a bathroom scene and get to choose from 4 items, each starts a 2nd clip after which (you got it!) free spins and your multiplier are awarded.

Basically this is a free spins round with a multiplier, however I like the film out-takes and the fact that they have made an effort to make them interactive, a nice touch!
